My Story
Most people are not looking for a dog trainer.
They are looking for peace of mind.
They want a dog they can trust at home and on the go. That is why Fox K9 exists.
My foundation in dog training was built over more than two decades of on the street experience, including years as a law-enforcement K9 handler and trainer.
That background shaped everything I believe about dogs and the people who live and work with them.
I learned that the biggest problem is rarely just the dog. More often, it is the gap between what the dog understands and what the handler is trying to communicate. That gap creates frustration, conflict, and mistrust. Close that gap, and everything starts to change.
Whether I am working with a family and their first dog, a high-drive dog with behavioural issues, or a handler who needs reliable performance, the goal is the same: build clarity, confidence, and trust through training that holds up.
Fox K9 was built to bring a higher standard to both training and boarding.
After years of trusting my own dogs to K-Lane Kennels, their retirement exposed something I had already felt for a long time: there was a gap in the industry. Too many owners were forced to choose between convenience and quality. I knew that gap could be filled better.
Fox K9 was built to do exactly that. To provide professional, tailored training and boarding for people who want more for their dog. From foundational obedience and off-leash reliability to advanced behaviour work and working-dog development, every program is built around the dog in front of us and the goals of the person behind the leash.
Because this is never just about commands. It is about creating a dog you can live daily life with, travel with, trust with your family, and feel confident handling.
I will do what is best for the dog. Always.
And I am just as committed to educating the handler as I am to training the dog. Because when both ends of the leash improve, everything changes.
